WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!?
Well, actually, HERE is what I was thinking: Emily has a facebook page, and she is uploading photos of Spain to it, and ...I wanted to see those photos...
So I thought I'd just add a teensy bit of information.
Like my high school, college, a photo of me.
WELL. That's when people from my past started crawling out of the wood work. I am now in contact with a friend from 10 years ago who moved to Colorado, and a couple friends from my high school youth group...one in South Dakota and one in Florida. The whole church has found me, and a few people from our old church.
Then a blogger hoped to see some photos of my family...so I added that album...
Now I found out there is SCRABBLE on facebook. Oh dear. I'm going to have to quit my job.
Or quit sleeping.
Sigh. What a world this is!
By the way, for those of you on the blog AND facebook, please don't post about the blog on there. It's not public, and I don't really want it to be. Thanks.

Distractions
I opened up the new laptop and LOGOS. I am loving this resource more each day, and marking up the NASB95 Bible with electronic colors, adding notes, reading the original languages (word by word...don't be too impressed...)
I decided to investigate a book on prayer and opened Handbook to Prayer by Kenneth Boa. Instantly hooked. Fabulous prayer guide for daily use, complete with three months of guiding through Bible verses and parts of prayer. Whew. Right here at the touch of a button.
Then I thought, hmmmmmm...is Libronix bigger than LOGOS? Libronix is the system of online storage. So I googled Libronix.
That somehow took me to www.librarything.com.
OH OH.
An online cataloging of owned books. It's quick and simple. But I own a lot of books. So far I just added what is sitting right here next to me, but that was enough trouble because from there you can see who else has that particular book on their shelf, read a review, and WORST OF ALL...see what else THAT person has on their shelf.
And there's more. But I put an end to distraction and closed after about 15 minutes.
And now here I am putting YOU at risk because if you love books you're gonna be HOOKED on this new treasure.
Misery loves company.

I am so sorry!
The blog world is unbelievable.
By the end of the afternoon I should know how to cook in the crock pot, lose all the weight I need to on South Beach, revitalize my home 5 minutes at a time, scrapbook, read great books, stay energized by moving more, clear a sinus cold...and that's just the tip of the blogging iceberg.
The tea is boiling. I'm chilled. I'm coughing up globs now. I'm thinking it's getting worse. Which is a bummer because it's hubby's work holiday party tonight, at the comedy cafe, and I'm thinking I'm not gonna make it. Sigh. On the Saturdays when I have NOTHING fun to do (most nights) I'm healthy and raring to go. Sigh.
Anyhow, if you want me to cough on you, or lick you or something, so you too can blog and surf all day in your jammies, do stop by.
I'm so sorry that life may never be the same...
The World of Blog
So, I signed up to be a "Company Girl," (she likes company on her daily pursuits) We'll see how it goes. I LOVE the idea. But what if I could do just one small thing each day to keep me moving in the
right direction? If each thing took an average of 5 little minutes (loose change
really), it would add up to 1,825 minutes in the course of a year! That’s about
30.5 hours of tasks, except they would in such small increments I’d hardly even
remember doing them! And what a difference just a tiny bit of effort makes!
Sometimes I get so focused on the BIG things that I forget just how meaningful
those small things can be. On January 1, I’m going to start posting one “Small
Thing” each weekday that I’m going try to do in my own home to create a little
more sanctuary for my "peep's." I'll still post my other thoughts as I normally
do, but these will just be daily snippets that I'd like to add.
