He makes me lie down.
He leads me by quiet waters.
He restores my soul.
(wow... Who would avoid such a God?!)
He guides me in paths of righteousness. (which will bring further blessing...)
He is with me.
His rod and staff comfort me. (I know He will keep me within a safe parameter)
He prepares a table for me.
He anoints my head with oil. (think spa)
But the line that grabs me right now is, "Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life."
Follow me. Like an adoring puppy wagging its tail and tagging along. I just can't shake the blessings; God will outdo me.
I am going to look over my shoulder and see if I can take notice of some of that goodness and mercy following me today. Join me?
